New Book by Dr. Daivati
Natural Treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Daivati Bharadvaj, ND
Published by Greenwood Praeger Group, copyright 2008, $44.95
This book was inspired by the successful outcomes of people who sought my help in overcoming chronic fatigue syndrome.
Individuals with chronic fatigue syndrome face a debilitating condition causing long-term weakness and lethargy and muscle pain, leading many to suffer from depression. Dismissed by their medical doctors, they are often told that "It's all in your head" or that "There's nothing wrong with you." This text serves as an empowering resource for the health care provider and CFS sufferer to regain vibrant health! It offers hope and insight into the complexities of this condition, and guides individuals through their unique journey to recovery using natural medicines like nutrition, botanical medicines, homeopathy, and holistic lifestyle.
This book is unique in that it is the first text of its kind to address the alternative and natural medical paradigm for treatment of CFS. In addition to the alternative medicine aspect, this book reviews the conflicting and confusing scientific literature as to the causes and associations of this condition. By explaining in everyday terminology the conclusions of these studies, it guides the reader to a better understanding of the controversies and speculations about this condition.
Always wanted to practice in a place like this?
Jade River has space available:
We are a busy multi-disciplinary clinic seeking a quality Certified Reflexologist and/or a Registered Aromatherapist to join our team, help serve our patients, and the local community. Prefer someone with experience in treating women, and experience with fertility, pregnancy and menopause issues.
We will give regular referrals from our client-base, and have relationships with other clinics and providers who actively refer to us (including several ob-gyn medical practices). This position is for someone ambitious looking to enthusiastically build their own practice in a professional and congenial setting as an independent provider. Our current Reflexologist/Aromatherpist has moved out of state, and her clients are seeking your services!
We are a group of providers focused on giving our patients/clients the best quality care possible in a beautiful and relaxing setting. We meet bi-monthly for grand rounds to discuss patient care and cases where we are co-treating. Quarterly business/social meetings are also important in maintaining our focus and goals as a group. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and professional, and seeking a long-term practice opportunity. If you would like to work with quality health care providers at a comfortable and inviting location, email Dawn-Starr Crowther, clinic owner (see her bio page and email link there), and include information about the styles you practice, your practice philosophy, etc.
